By means of this herb the invisible substances visibly are arrested, taken in detention, and as in prison put.

Original French:  Icelle herbe moyenante les ſubſtances inuiſibles visiblement ſont arreſtées, prinſes detenues, & comme en priſon miſes.

Modern French:  Icelle herbe moyenante les substances invisibles visiblement sont arrestées, prinses detenues, & comme en prison mises.

Icelle moyennant etc.
